PRESIDENT'S PAGE

Well, this is the first time I've put content into the President's Page.  Let me start by saying that I'm proud to be your president, ... for the second time!  The last time was in 1991-92, and that was 26 years ago.

Our club was much different then than it is now.  We had about 45 members, and felt that that was way short of where we'd like to be.  It was the club's 75th anniversary year, so we set a  goal of 75 members to reach by September 30, the end of a Kiwanis year.  We did it, and the club continued to grow to about 90 members the next year. Some of our members wondered if we were getting too big, too fast.  It was hard to get to know all the newcomers!
